Construction and Site Management
Building the project exactly as designed on site: planning the sequence of works, checking the work against the project and keeping site decisions in line with the architectural design.
The quality of a building is determined by how faithfully the project is carried out on site. However well a project is prepared, if the site is not followed, the works proceed on decisions made independently of each other.
In our construction and site management service, the sequence of works is planned, the work is compared with the project and details during site visits, and technical questions are resolved in line with the architectural design. The client knows regularly which stage the work has reached and which task comes next.
Running design and construction from the same office means that problems arising on site are solved by the person who drew the project.
Sequence of Works and Planning
Which work will be carried out in which order on site is planned from the start. Getting the sequence right reduces later removal and correction work. Critical works and points that require a decision are communicated to the client in advance.
Site Supervision and Compliance with the Project
During site visits, the work carried out is compared with the project, details and room schedules. When a deviation from the project is found, we intervene before the work proceeds. Findings and decisions are shared with the client.
Site Decisions and Coordination
Unexpected situations can arise on site — for example, encountering different ground conditions or a selected product becoming unavailable. In such cases, a solution is developed that does not compromise the architectural design and is implemented together with the teams involved.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often do you visit the site?
The frequency depends on the size of the job and the nature of the work under way at the time. Visits become more frequent during critical stages. We clarify this before signing the contract.
Do you take on construction if another office prepared the project?
This depends on the level of detail of the existing project and the scope of the work. If you share the project with us for review, we will assess it and get back to you.
How does site supervision affect the cost?
An error spotted early on site requires far less intervention than one corrected after the work is finished. That said, every project's budget is assessed according to its own conditions; we do not give a general rate.
How can I follow the progress of the work?
Findings and decisions from site visits are shared with you regularly. Matters that require your decision are communicated before the relevant work begins.
